Lexly's app provides a daily 5 minute physiotherapy programme that reduces chronic pain. Instant feedback is given to correct their exercise posture using computer vision. Our Co-Founder with PhD in Physiotherapy validates the efficacy of our app, at 53% pain reduction.

Dr Benjamin has a PhD in physiotherapy, and has been in the space for over 20 years. He is the most reputable physiotherapist in Singapore.
Bryan and Maryann are siblings who have known each other our entire lives.
The 3 of us met when we were building our first wellness business together (Wellness service marketplace) at a total revenue of $20,000 in 3 months.
Launched 1 month ago to only 5 users, but they recommended us to their friends and brought 15 more paying customers completely organically. Our users have high engagement rates at 3 exercises/week. 80% of them are repeat buyers, with an ~100% MRR growth.

Our unique insight:
Competitors have complex exercise programmes, resulting in low retention rates. We focus on lowering users' inertia with easy to do 5 minute exercises.
Learnings:
- We focused on first 10 users rather than 10,000 with a passing annoyance
- We found our one liner customer pitch (Back pain relief in 5 mins)
- Launched 3 MVPs quickly (Talk to users, launch, feedback, iterate)
- Qualified users only if they've spent at least $2000 on past solutions
- Did things that don't scale (Manually recruited users, wrote welcome notes and delivered exercise bands personally)
Dr Benjamin has a PhD in physiotherapy for > 21 years and have met over 10,000 people with such issues. Maryann and Bryan have personally experienced this problem for > 8 years and paid over $5000 for many solutions that didn't work. We know we are building a product that people love because of the 80% repeated sign ups and 100% MRR growth.
Our main competitors are Root Ally, Kinexcs and Rebee who have a similar solution but solve a different problem. They sell their solution to hospitals to solve high patient volume but in turn, their recovery outcomes are compromised. They focus on building their product around physiotherapists rather than patients. We saw a gap and want to create a better recovery programme.
Our unique insight for a better recovery programme is to lower users' inertia to do the exercises with an easy 5 minute physiotherapy programme using our algorithm.
Our competitors target hospitals and thus, are forced to focus on reducing patients’ volume. They don’t prioritise users’ recovery and have low retention rates. Building a high user retention recovery solution is not an afterthought, it impacts every decision in the product.
There are 60 million people with chronic pain globally and at an average of $10/month per user, we have a total addressable market of $7.2B.

Bryan write the code and built most of the product. We managed to inspire part time developers to code for free to speed things up for launch
Bryan experimented different evidence-based motivational techniques (Self determination theory, motivational interviewing, intrinsic motivation, etc.) on himself to lose weight. He lost 20kg across 6 months through walks and dieting only.
Today, our health coaches and physiotherapy programme apply the same motivational techniques to increase users' exercise compliance rates.
